Disney Vacation Club is reviving an old direct sales policy with its latest incentives: time limited offers.
The latest promotional offer for points at Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas features a combination of per-point credits, added developer credits and free One-Time Use points. But in order to receive the maximum savings, buyers must agree to purchase within a set timeframe following their contact with DVC.
For new buyers, purchases at the 100-174 point level include a matching set of One-Time Use points plus a flat $500 developer credit. Buy 150 points, get 150 points free which are available to use just once.
At the 175 point threshold, a per-point credit offer is added to the mix. The base price of $165 per point is reduced by $4 each, with the matching 175 points and $500 developer credit also provided.
The per-point credit rises aong with the size of the purchse. At 200 points the credit is raised to $5 per point, and at 250 it increases $6 per point. The largest credit of $11 per point applies beginning at 500 Aulani points purchased.
Existing DVC members can access similar offers, typically with more benefiical per-point credits. Members adding-on will save $4 per point starting at the 150-point level. The credit rises to $5 per point at 175, $6 at 200 and tops-out at $12 per point for an add-on of 500 or more points. These discounts come in addition to the One-Time Use points and $500 developer credit.
In order to receive this combination of offers, buyers must agree to a purchase within a specific timeframe. According to Disney Vacation Club sales literature, the One-Time Use points offer expires 7 days following an in-person tour of DVC accommodations and within 21 days of a "telephone tour." The $500 developer credit expires just 3 days after an on-site tour and 14 days after the telephone tour.
