On Monday 23-year Disney veteran Clair Bilby was named senior vice president in charge of Disney Vacation Club, replacing Jim Lewis as the division's top exec.  The Orlando Sentinel has more details on Bilby's history with The Walt Disney Company. 

Veteran sales executive picked to run Disney's time-share business

The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that irregularities in the calculation of annual dues for timeshare owners of Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa lead to the departure of Disney Vacation Club President Jim Lewis and two other executives.

Disney executive Clair Bilby has been named Senior Vice President of Disney Vacation Club, replacing departed DVC head Jim Lewis.  Bilby has been with the Disney company since 1988 in a variety of roles, most recently as Senior Vice President of Distribution Marketing and Asia Pacific Sales.

Disney Vacation Club recently revived its 2010 promotional spot "Disney Storybook Vacations."  With the exception of some added Aulani content, the infomercial remains largely unchanged from its original broadcast a year ago.  Now members are being sought to appear in a follow-up edition.
