DVCNews Debates: Purchase do-over

mt_ignore:DVCNews DebatesEven satisfied Disney Vacation Club members seem to have some regret over their purchase.  Perhaps they bought too many points or too few.  Some wish they had a different Home resort or different Use Year.  And some members simply wish that they had not waited so long to purchase in the first place.

DVCNews Debates: Villa damage

mt_ignore:DVCNews DebatesDisney Vacation Club villas do suffer considerable wear and tear over time.  And Disney has a history of not charging departing guests for maintenance problems discovered in rooms after guests depart.  Whether it's scratches on furniture, missing kitchen utensils or a broken handle on the armoire, guests are generally not billed for issues which arise during their stay.

DVCNews Debates: Expensive reservation

mt_ignore:DVCNews DebatesOne of the benefits of the Disney Vacation Club system is that owners can use their points for an endless combination of resorts / dates / villa sizes.  For instance, with sufficient DVC points an owner could book a 6-week winter getaway in a One Bedroom or multiple rooms to host a family reunion. DVC points can even be used for other pricey destinations like Disney Cruise Line or Adventures by Disney.

DVCNews Debates: Favorite resort

mt_ignore:DVCNews DebatesSo many different aspects of a resort vary from one Disney Vacation Club property to another:  theme, style, location, amenities, nightly point cost, contract ending date, and so on.  But after taking all of those factors into consideration, most of us could probably identify a single favorite resort.
