Disney Vacation Club plans to streamline the 2012 Condominium Association Meeting, shortening its duration and eliminating some of the fluff.
The annual Condo Association Meetings are often lengthy affairs, running 3-4 hours from start to finish. Mixed in with the legally-required business and formal member updates are musical performances, skits, videos and more.
That will change for 2012.
According to Disney Files Magazine, DVC hopes to stick to business in 2012 and end the meeting much sooner than in prior years.
"Plans call for this year's meeting to debut a new, condensed format, removing the entertainment elements that have elongated the meeting through the years and focusing instead on core Disney Vacation Club agenda items, allowing Members to get back to their Walt Disney World vacation as quickly as possible."
The 2012 Condominium Association Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, December 13. Location and time have not yet been announced. All members are welcome to attend.
