Disney Vacation Club has been refreshing the lineup of members-only merchandise in recent weeks, and there is now a MagicBand+ to match.
Earlier this month, we got our first look at DVC member merchandise with a teal green color scheme. The roster includes Mickey Mouse ears, pins and a Loungefly backpack. And now there is also a MagicBand to match.
Spotted at Disney's Riviera Resort, this band features Mickey Mouse on the face, running frantically with his suitcases. Surrounding text reads "Disney Vacation Club Member", "A Vacation of Adventure", and the 1991 founding date of the original DVC resort: Disney's Old Key West Resort. The band has a number of different DVC logo designs which have been used in recent years.
This is the newer MagicBand+ with the light up face and other interactive features. It includes a plug-in USB charger. Usability of these bands has expanded beyond Walt Disney World. Many functions are now supported at both Disneyland and on select Disney Cruise Line ships.
Note that MagicBands can only be associated with one MyDisneyExperience account. The band is currently priced at $44.95. Discounts may not apply to MagicBand+ purchases.
The older blue and white DVC MagicBand+ can also be found at a number of Disney shops. A small selection of MagicBand+ designs are available to order online at a discounted price for guests with upcoming hotel stays. See the Disney website or app for details.
