Despite the existence of five separate pool areas at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort, apparently there is some sense that the resort is in need of additional facilities. According to the newly-published 2010 resort budget and Condominium Association Meeting notice, The Paddock pool at Saratoga Springs will be getting a makeover in the near future.
Among the items scheduled to be voted-upon during the upcoming Condominium Association Meetings is an expansion of The Paddock pool at Saratoga Springs. The resolution reads as follows:
Pool Expansion: Authorization of the expansion of the recreational facilities located at the Paddock Pool Area of the Resort, including a larger pool and pool deck, installation of a wet play area adjacent to the new pool, and related enhancements.
The resolution must be approved by the Board of Directors at the upcoming Condo Association Meetings. Members of the Board are appointed by Disney Vacation Development, leaving little doubt as to whether the proposed meaures will pass. In fact, the annual meeting notice specifically states that DVD has "reviewed the proposed resolutions and intends to cast each Unit's vote to approve" all resolutions, including the pool expansion.
