Victora & Albert's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has been recognized by MICHELIN Guide for exceptional cuisine.

Victoria Alberts Michelin Star

During a ceremony on Thursday, April 18, Victoria & Albert's was one of nine Central Florida restaurants awarded the prestigeous MICHELIN Star award. The MICHELIN rating program has been around for more than a century, recognizing the finest cuisine and service at establishments around the world. MICHELIN assigns 1-3 stars to qualifying restaurants. Only about 200 restaurants in the U.S. have received a star.

MICHELIN's inspectors' notes had this to say about the Walt Disney World eatery:

Nestled within Disney’s crown jewel, the Grand Floridian Resort, this restaurant is by no means an easy reservation. The setting is intimate, and the pacing is that of a leisurely, three-hour waltz orchestrated by a gracious brigade of veteran servers. Chef Matthew Sowers cooks with contemporary verve and draws on influences spanning from Asia to the Nordics. Think delicate tarts set with New Zealand langoustine, striking “sandwiches” made with venison carpaccio and red cabbage, and bold sauces like cherry-cola bordelaise. Other details like water lists, an ornate coffee and tea service, and a serious wine program further impress.

The only other Disney-area restaurant to earn this distinction is Capa, located on the 17th floor of the Four Seasons Orlando. According to the MICHELIN website, only 7 Orlando-area restaurants have earned stars.

The prix fixe menu at Victoria & Albert's starts at $295 per person with wine pairings for an additional $155. Dining reservations are recommended, and can be made via the My Disney Experience website or smartphone app.
