Memorial Day often serves as the unofficial start of the summer season. During the upcoming holiday weekend, some services available to Disney Vacation Club members will see temporary schedule adjustments while others remain unchanged.
DVC Member Services will be closed all day on Monday, May 25, 2015. During the closure, members may use DVCMember.com to make and cancel reservations, bank points and perform other tasks supported by the site.
Member Services will re-open at 9am on Tuesday, May 26.
Not impacted by Memorial Day are the availability of member perks including the pool hopping privileges. DVC "Membership Magic" discount perks are suspended on nearly a dozen days throughout the year but Memorial Day is non included on the blockout list. Additionally pool hopping remains available to owners throughout the holiday weekend. Members using points to stay at a Walt Disney World resort or Disney's Vero Beach Resort can pool hop to most other hotels at the Orlando-area complex.
Pool hopping is never allowed to Bay Cove Pool at Bay Lake Tower, as well as all pools at Disney's Beach Club Villas, Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas, Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows and Disney's Art of Animation Resort.
The next posted blockout date for Membership Magic perks is July 4, 2015. Pool hopping is suspended from June 26 through July 11.
