Disney Vacation Club retained the title of top timeshare through the first three quarters of 2011.
Polling firm Market Metrix has released the results of its third quarter 2011 Hospitality Index. Disney Vacation Club leads all timeshare accommodations with a satisfaction rating of 88.0, down .1 from its second quarter year-to-date rating of 88.1.
Just behind Disney Vacation Club are Marriott Vacation Club and Hilton Grand Vacation, both with an 87.7 YTD rating.

Disney Vacation Club finished 2010 as clear leader in the timeshare category with a rating of 91.8. The next closest competitor finished the year with an 86.4 rating.
However, Disney lost that crown in the first quarter of 2011 when its satisfaction rating dropped sharply to 87.7. Disney regained the top spot in the second quarter and retained it into the third, albeit with a satisfaction rating noticeably lower than its 2010 numbers.
