News on possible Grand Floridian villas, DVC logo changes, even higher prices for the Bay Lake Tower and more in this week's DVCNews Briefs.

...another Notice of Commencement has been filed in relation to the cryptically-named "Project 2011-1B" which most observers believe is the code name for a Disney Vacation Club villa project at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.  This particular filing relates to the creation and landscaping of a temporary walking path in the project area.

...website InsideTheMagic.net has photos and video from the Aulani portion of Disney's press event held in conjunction with the recent attraction openings at Disneyland Resort.  

...effective June 1, 2011, delivery fees for most resort grocery store orders has increased from $5 to $10.  This fee applies only to groceries ordered directly from Disney's resort shopping list and hand-delivered to guests' rooms.  



...the Orlando Sentinel reports that guests visiting this fall's Epcot International Food and Wine Festival can pick up a complimentary Marketplace Discovery Passport at the Festival Welcome Center or any Disney Vacation Club sales booth.  The Passports are targeted at youngsters, with room to collect stamps at each of the festival booths.  

...the new Disney Vacation Club logo has now been integrated into most official DVC websites.  A recent posting to the Disney Parks Blog trumpets the "bold new look."

...we're hearing rumors that all sales incentives for the Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort could be eliminated in early July.  The price for direct purchases would then be a flat $140 per point plus closing costs.  This is a standard move for DVC to make as a resort approaches its official "sell out", and BLT is clearly headed in that direction...
