According to the Orlando Sentinel, Disney Vacation Club president Jim Lewis reported that all DVC Cast Members in Japan are safe following last month's devastating earthquake.
Lewis is also quoted as saying that be believes the "resiliencies of the Japanese people" will help them through the difficult times ahead.
Disney Vacation Club opened its first international sales center at Tokyo Disneyland back in the summer of 2010. Japan is regarded as an important market for sales in the Hawai'i-based Aulani resort property. It remains to be seen how Aulani may be impacted by fallout from the tragic 9.0 earthquake which struck on March 11, 2011.
