After a slow month for sales in December 2015, direct sales of Disney Vacation Club points rebounded in January 2016.
For the second month in a row, direct sales of Disney Vacation Club points failed to break the 100,000 point mark. Excluding Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas, and the Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel, only 94,415 points were sold in December 2015. This represents the fewest number of points sold since direct sales started to be tracked in July 2010.

Over 900 Disney Vacation Club deeds were foreclosed on in 2015. With DVC contracts maintaining their value far better than most timeshares, why do many financed purchases go into foreclosure?
