Disneyland to Welcome Non-Residents Beginning June 15

DL Theme Park News

Guests who reside outside the state of California will soon be able to visit Disneyland again, but Disney Vacation Club members who do not already have a reservation are probably out of luck.

Disneyland

Disneyland has revealed that residents of states other than California can begin visiting its two theme parks beginning on June 15, 2021. In keeping with state reopening guidelines, visits to the parks have thus far been limited to California residents only.

In conjunction with this announcement, Disneyland extended access to its Park Pass reservation system. Guests will now be able to secure a theme park reservation up to 120 days in advance.

The news isn't so good for Disney Vacation Club members interested in staying in the Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel. As of this writing, there are exactly 4 nights available--across all villa sizes and types--through the end of 2021.

VGC Avail 2021

As most members know, Grand Californian is home to the smallest DVC location with just 48 total villas.

Plans are in the works to add 350 villas to the Disneyland Hotel with a projected opening in 2022-2023.
