Recreation

Silver Creek Springs Pool (Hours: 10am to 10pm; slide open only when lifeguards on duty)

Silver Creek Springs is the feature pool complex at the Wilderness Lodge.  Its size is fairly small--understandable since it was originally constructed for the >700 room Wilderness Lodge Resort.  The area includes a small kiddie pool and two spas.  The pool also affords a view of Fire Rock Geyser, a recreation of Old Faithful which erupts every few minutes to entertain guests.  Beware of pool crowding issues due to guests making the trek (or bus ride) over from Fort Wilderness.

Snacks and refreshments are available at the nearby Trout Pass Pool Bar.

Towels are provided.  Lounge chairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Life jackets may be borrowed (free) nearby.

Leisure Pool (Hours:  10am to 10pm)

Hidden Springs is a modest-sized leisure pool that was added to the resort when the DVC villas were constructed back in 2000.  It's a simple pool lacking in the features common to the more robust pool complexes--there is no zero-entry area, no slide and no water geyser.  A small hot tub is located nearby.

Towels and lounge chairs are also available.  Lifeguards are not present at Hidden Springs.

Other Recreation Options
