The monorail system at Walt Disney World will be operating on a modified schedule for several days in May 2017.
Monorail service in the Magic Kingdom area is typically divided among two lines:
Resort Monorail which makes stops at the Transportation and Ticket Center, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, Magic Kingdom and Disney's Contemporary Resort
Express Monorail which services the Transportation and Ticket Center and Magic Kingdom with no additional stops
For four days in May, this operating schedule will change.
From 11:30am to 6:00pm on May 16, 17, 23 and 24, stops at the Contemporary will be switched to the Express Monorail line. During this period, the Resort Monorail will shuttle between the Polynesian, Grand Floridian and Magic Kingdom only. The Express Monorail will make stops at the TTC, Contemporary and Magic Kingdom.
Guests at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort will be most impacted by this change.

So the Resort monorail won't stop at TTC? Guests who board at GF & wanting to go to Epcot need to transfer at MK & again at TTC?

I would just make the 13-15 minute (or so) walk from GF to TTC.
But I know that doesn't work for a lot of people.
So now I am wondering if the two lines will be operating not in a circular direction, but back and forth between the three stations. TTC to CR to MK and back to CR and the TTC and the second group from the Poly to GF to MK and back to GF to the Poly. That way work can be done on the monorail track between the TTC and the Poly. Hopefully someone will let us know what happens.
