Renovations at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort have been a very polarizing topic for several months now. Many long-time fans have been steadfastly opposed to changes to the lobby, pool and grounds as the resort prepares to open its first Disney Vacation Club villas. Of particular note is the removal (or downsizing) of the waterfall previously located in the center of the lobby.
But those changes are only now starting to come into focus with the resort's main lobby reopening late last week (see coverage HERE and HERE.)
