Disney Vacation Club computer systems will go down for maintenance late on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 and are expected to return to service at some undetermined time on Wednesday, May 16.
During the outage, all online point management features will be unavailable including the ability to secure reservations, bank points, pay annual dues, and so on.
Members planning to make 7-month reservations for dates in December 2012 should take note as the outage could negatively impact the ability to reserve as planned. Online reservations are typically accepted beginning at 8am eastern time, with live Member Services assistance following at 9am eastern. Under normal circumstances, members wishing to book an arrival date of December 16, 2012 could do so online beginning at 8am eastern on May 16. However, should the system outage extend beyond 8am there may be no way to predict exactly when Disney Vacation Club will begin accepting reservation on that date.

Outage Notification: In an effort to maintain our systems and serve you better, please be advised that we will soon be conducting systems tests. During this testing, beginning May 15, 2012 at 11:30 p.m. ET, all Member transactions (banking, payments, resort reservations, etc.) will be unavailable. We do expect to return to full online functionality on May 16, 2012. Please note that these dates and times are subject to change. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience and look forward to assisting you in the near future.
