Disney Vacation Club has released a schedule of the planned Moonlight Magic events throughout 2018. Members will receive free access to Disney theme parks and waterparks on fourteen nights throughout the year, including the first ever event at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Following is the full slate of activities for the coming year:
Magic Kingdom: January 11 and 28, February 6. Reservations open on December 7 for those with hotel reservations the night of the event; on December 21 for all others.
Disney's Animal Kingdom: March 21, April 17, May 16. Reservations open on February 8 for those with hotel reservations the night of the event; on February 22 for all others.
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park: May 30 and June 11. Reservations open on April 19 for those with hotel reservations the night of the event; on May 3 for all others.
Epcot: July 16 and August 15 (originally August 13, date change announced 1/31/18.) Reservations open on June 6 for those with hotel reservations the night of the event; on June 20 for all others.
Disney's Hollywood Studios: September 19 and 26, October 3. Reservations open on August 30 for those with hotel reservations the night of the event; on September 13 for all others.
Disney California Adventure: November 15. Reservations open for all members on October 4.
The popular Moonlight Magic events debuted in 2016 in conjunction with Disney Vacation Club's 25th Anniversary celebration. Members are treated to several hours of exclusive theme park access including complimentary refreshments, shorter-than-usual attraction lines, unique character greet opportunities, dance parties and more.
Attendance is limited and advance registration is required. For most events, those with confirmed hotel reservations on the event evening are given the first opportunity to book. Members will be allowed to book the event for themeslves and all listed guests on their hotel reservation.
Beginning in 2018, each Disney Vacation Club membership will only be able to book one event per theme park. In other words, a single member--including all listed owners on their DVC contract--can only attend one of the three Moonlight Magic evenings at the Magic Kingdom, one event at Disney's Animal Kingdom, etc.

Moonlight Magic is part of DVC's "Membership Magic" perks program. Owners must have purchased points direct from Disney Vacation Club--or via the resale marketplace prior to 4/4/16--in order to be eligible for Membership Magic perks and discounts.
