In June 2017, Disney Vacation Club members have the opportunity to dine at Markham's, located at Walt Disney World's exclusive residential community.
On Wednesday, June 21, DVC is hosting an exclusive dinner at Markham's at Summerhouse within the Golden Oak housing community. Markham's is located at the clubhouse, and is typically open only to residents of Golden Oak. Disney claims that the restaurant aims to provide "fresh, farm-to-table cuisine and seasonal offerings in a Tuscan-inspired setting."
The dinner menu may include some of the following selections:
- Crudités
- Marinated vegetables with house-made hummus and herb vegetable dip
- Artisanal cheeses and charcuterie
- Chilled seafood selections, such as jumbo shrimp and Alaskan king crab legs
- House-made Italian sausage with Poma Rosa tomato ragu and handcrafted rigatoni
- Arroz con pollo with Bell & Evans chicken, house-made chorizo, black beans and rice
- Curry lamb meatballs with creamy herb polenta
- Atlantic swordfish with couscous, Nicoise olives, tomatoes, artichokes and harissa
- Whipped mashed potatoes
- Mélange of summer vegetables
- A dessert spread featuring macarons from Amorette's Patisserie, chocolates from The Ganachery and the chef's selection of miniature desserts
- An open bar serving beer, wine and cocktails
Dinner will be served from 5:30 - 7:30pm. The cost is $130 per person. No discounts or dining plan entitlements apply. DVC members staying at Walt Disney World can make reservations for themselves and their entire registered party. Those not staying on-site are limited to the member plus up to five guests.
Summerhouse is located within the Golden Oak community. Members staying at a Walt Disney World resort who require transportation can make arrangements when booking this event thru DVC Member Services.
