Last week Disney Vacation Club ended a promotion in which buyers would receive 15 additional points for every 100 purchased at Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas. The replacement offer is strikingly similar.
DVC is still offering free points for the life of the contract with an Aulani purchase or add-on. The only real change comes in the number of points received. Rather than a flat 15 points for every 100, the "free" points are now doled-out on a sliding scale.
Existing members adding 100 points at Aulani will receive 10 free points. The next bump occurs at 150 points when the promotional offer increases to 20 free points.
New buyers are subject to the same increments, however a 150 point minimum purchase is required in order to participate in the promotion.
100-149 point: 10 free points (current members only)
150-199 point: 20 free points
200-249 point: 30 free points
250-299 point: 40 free points
300-349 point: 50 free points
The number of promotional points received continues to rise with the number of points purchased. Additionally buyers who add 1,000 or more points will receive a discount of $1 off the price of every point. The current price for Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas is $160 per point.
Points are still available for the Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa at the rate of $165 per point with no incentives or discounts offered.
