Disney Vacation Club has reversed a previous decision and plans to give owners of the Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel a two week priority booking period. Additionally the resort opening has been accellerated and will now occur two months sooner than expected.

DVC Members planning to visit The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will be hearing "Welcome Home" a little earlier than planned! Due to an ahead-of-schedule construction pace, the resort will open to Members and Guests on September 23, 2009.
Member Services will begin accepting Vacation Points reservations for The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa owners using Home Resort Vacation Points starting June 7, 2009. All Disney Vacation Club Members will be able to book Vacation Points reservations at The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa starting June 21, 2009.
