Recently Disney announced that the new BoardWalk eatery Kouzzina by Cat Cora will open to guests on September 17, 2009. Advance Dining Reservations are now being accepted and website WDWMagic.com has posted pre-opening menus. Links follow.
Kouzzina will be offering breakfast and dinner menus when it opens in September.
Most of the breakfast items are rather traditional with a few house specials added such as the Stacked Kouzzina Breakfast (Two Poached Eggs, Kalamata Olive Toast, Artichoke Spread, and Sweet Potato Hash with choice of Bacon or Chicken Sausage.) The childrens' breakfast menu includes favorites like Mickey Waffles, pancakes and French Toast.
The dinner menu features a hearty variety of appetizers, entrees and desserts...most with a Greek flair. Included are several lamb dishes (Lamb Burger, slow-cooked Lamb Shank), Pastitsio (Greek-style Lasagna with Bucatini Pasta, Cinnamon-stewed Meat Sauce, and Bechamel) and Spiced Briami (Oven-roasted Vegetables, Oregano, and Mazithra Cheese served with Herbed Orzo.)
Gyro fans will apparently have to wait to see if Kouzzina eventually expands service into the lunchtime hours.
