Additional details have come to light regarding the anticipated closure of the dock at Disney's Yacht & Beach Club resorts.
Previously we noted that the dock servicing both the Yacht and Beach Clubs was scheduled to be closed from February 21 through some unspecified date in mid-March. Website WDWMagic.com is now reporting that the closure will last from February 18 to March 24, 2011.
During this period the Friendship boats will not be stopping at the Yacht & Beach Club dock. Boat service will continue to run between Epcot, Disney's BoardWalk, the Dolphin and Swan Resorts and Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Shuttle buses will run from the Yacht & Beach Club resorts to Disney's Hollywood Studios.
