Frequent WDW forum denizen “Greenban” has come forward with a wealth of new information about Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas.
According to his sources:
- Sales will begin on February 1, 2007
- The converted rooms will be ready for guest stays beginning September 1, 2007
- Owners at AKV can begin making reservations on April 4, 2007
- All other DVC members can begin making reservations at AKV on May 2, 2007 (subject to the 7-month window)
- There will be four categories of rooms:
- Value: Smaller than current SSR / BWV / BCV floorplan and equipped to sleep 4 in a Studio / One Bedroom, 8 in a Two Bedroom
- Standard: Similar to current room design with addition of a sleeper recliner in the living room. Max occupancy of 5 / 9
- Savannah/Pool: Same as Standard with Savannah or Pool view
- Club: Same as Savannah with Concierge access
