Disney Vacation Club members will lose access to some of the most popular villas for a few weeks from late-2019 through early-2020.
Value-class Studio villas at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House will be unavailable from December 2019 through January 2020.
This information comes via a maintenance note on the DVC members-only website. The reason given for the restricted availability is “resort construction.” No additional details are available regarding the nature of this construction project.
Jambo House villas were refurbished back in the spring of 2016. All Disney Vacation Club resorts are now on 7-year refurbishment cycles.
Value studios are particularly sought-after due to the low cost. During Adventure Season, which encompasses most of December and January, Value Studios are available for just 8 points per weeknight.
