More villas declared for Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas

Animal Kingdom Villas

Less than six weeks after its last declaration, Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas has had more vacation homes declared for the Disney Vacation Club inventory.

On May 13, 2013, Disney Vacation Development declared 10 more two-bedroom vacation homes and two more grand villas that DVC members can book using points.

97.09% of Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas has now been declared for the DVC inventory. There are only 11 two-bedroom vacation homes and one grand villa, which represent about 215,320 points, that have not yet been declared. In all likelihood, Disney Vacation Development will only need to make one more declaration before the resort is fully declared for the DVC.

Although almost all of Animal Kingdom Villas has been declared, Disney Vacation Development still has about 900,000 points it can sell to the general public. So far in 2013, Animal Kingdom Villas has averaged almost 86,000 points in monthly sales. However, in April 2013 sales increased significantly to almost 134,000 points. If future sales continue at that pace, Disney will probably exhaust its supply of points for that resort before the end of the year.
