Smart TV owners can now download a Disney Parks and Resorts app containing videos and information on the Disney theme parks, Disney Vacation Club, Aulani and more.

The New York Times has published details on Disney's latest interactive TV efforts to showcase its theme parks and other vacation destinations. The app will be available for download on digital app stores affiliated with a number of smart TVs and Blu-Ray disc players.
According to the Times, the app "...aggregates videos, photographs, interactive theme park maps and other information from the websites of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts businesses and from their social media channels."
Among the destinations featured within the app are Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa and Disney Vacation Club. In addition to streaming content, the app features a trivia game and allows users to request additional information regarding the many Disney destinations.
The app is available today on the Samsung smart TV app store. Other versions will hit the LG app store and Blu-Ray players in early April.
