One of the unofficial Disney Vacation Club point tracking resources for the Apple iPhone/iPod is currently free in the App Store.
The DVC iPlanner app is now available to download from the App Store at no cost.
It is worth noting that the app has not been updated since February 2010 and does not currently contain point charts for the 2011 calendar year. However, a note from the developer suggests that an update is in the works and the no-cost download is being offered only while the 2011 point values are absent.
Those who download the current (free) version of the iPlanner will be eligible to acquire future updates at no cost, even if the developer begins charging for the app again. In other words, there is no reason not to acquire the app now in hopes that an update does eventually materialize.
