As Walt Disney World continues to tweak its Minnie Van transportation service, the flat rate pricing model has been eliminated.
Disney's Minnie Van personal transport option was introduced in the fall of 2017 at a flat rate of $20 per trip between any two locations on Walt Disney World property. In February 2018 the price rose to $25 per trip.
Now Disney has switched to a more traditional distance-based pricing model. The rate is reportedly a $15 flat fee plus an additional per-mile surcharge.
Additionally Minnie Van service has expanded to additional destinations including Bonnet Creek Resort and hotels located at Flamingo Crossing and along Hotel Plaza Boulevard.
Minnie Van service can be arranged using the Lyft app. It is worth noting that other Lyft and Uber drivers also service destinations throughout Walt Disney World and may offer rates significantly lower than the Minnie Van.
