TIW price increase

WDW Dining News

Walt Disney World Annual Passholders will have to pay a little more for their Tables in Wonderland dining discount card, although the price remains unchanged for Disney Vacation Club owners.

According to TablesInWonderland.com, the passholder price is now $100, up from $75 per card.  This $100 price equals the rate offered to Disney Vacation Club members since the owner perk debuted in the spring of 2012.

Florida residents--who are not also Annual Passholders or DVC members--will be charged $125.  Additional cards for a spouse or partner are priced at $50 for all eligible groups.

The Tables in Wonderland card offers a discount of 20% off normal menu prices at most Walt Disney World Table Service restaurants plus a handful of Quick Service locations. The discount is valid for groups of up to 10 diners accompanying the cardholder.  All meal items are discounted including alcoholic beverages.  An 18% gratuity is automatically added to checks when Tables in Wonderland is used.

The card is valid for approximately one year from the date of purchase.

For additional details visit TablesInWonderland.com.

With an initial outlay of $100 to purchase the card, the break-even point is $500 worth of food and beverages at normal menu prices.  Cardholders do not begin to save until that $500 threshold is exceeded.  The card is often beneficial to DVC owners who travel in large groups and/or plan multiple stays within a year's time.

Reminder that many Walt Disney World dining locations offer discounts to DVC members, Annual Passholders, D23 Fan Club members and others.  Visit the applicable website for a list of current discounts.

Thanks to Michael for the tip!
