System maintenance on the Disney Vacation Club members-only website will pave the way for the online booking debut of Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.
Disney Vacation Club has announced a scheduled maintenance window for the Online Booking Tool scheduled to occur from 4:30am to 9am Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday, April 26. All online reservation features will be unavailable until 9am--a one hour delay over the typical daily start time.
This system maintenance is intended to allow for the addition of Copper Creek Villas & Cabins to the Online Booking Tool. Beginning April 26, Disney Vacation Club owners can begin making reservations at Copper Creek using points from other Home resorts.
Until now, Copper Creek owners wishing to book a stay were required to make a phone call to DVC Member Services as the resort has not yet been added to the online booking system.
Notice regarding upcoming website downtime
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins--Disney Vacation Club's fourteenth timeshare property--is scheduled to open on July 17, 2017. As of 4/26, reservations using points from other Home resorts can be used to book all check-in dates between July 17 and November 26, 2017. Subsequently Copper Creek owners can continue making reservations 11 months prior to their arrival date while points from other Home properties may be used to secure reservations 7 months before arrival.
At present only 48 of the resort's 184 Vacation Homes have been declared into the timeshare program with 1/4 of those units being the waterfront Cascade Cabins. High owner interest combined with limited availability could lead to technical problems with the member website and long on-hold times for DVC Member Services, particularly early in the day on April 26.
