If you're among the enthusiastic Disney Vacation Club owners who rushed to buy points at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins, you can now start making reservations for dates into 2018.
Beginning today, March 21, owners at the new Copper Creek Villas can begin securing reservations up to 11 months in advance of check-in. That opens up all dates through February 21, 2018.
Unfortunately the reservation will require a phone call to Disney Vacation Club Member Services as the online booking component is not yet available.
Cash bookings are also available for the Copper Creek rooms by contacting Disney reservations or a travel agent. In its initial filing, Disney Vacation Development has only included 48 of the 184 rooms at Copper Creek in the timeshare program. The remaining 136 are owned by Disney and not bookable by DVC members using points. Most of those rooms will be offered for cash reservations until they are added to the DVC timeshare system.
Sales of Copper Creek points to new buyers is expected to launch on April 5, 2017. Those new owners can start making reservations effective April 19 for all check-in dates within 11 months.
Finally, on April 26, Copper Creek reservations will open to all members subject to the 7-month window. Online reservations for Copper Creek are expected to be functional by this general availability date.
