As we reported in this week’s special notice, DVC began posting details about Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas on the members-only website on February 1st. At this time, the full point charts are available as well as a general overview of the property.

Some critical information is still absent including room floorplans, an official map of the resort, and details on the number of rooms in each category. Most of this information may be contained within documents provided to members adding-on points at AKV. We would appreciate hearing from any readers willing to share further details with their fellow DVC members.
In mailers sent to most members’ homes, DVC extends a one-of-a-kind offer to existing members who add-on before end of the month:
“If you purchase an Ownership Interest in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas equal to 150 Vacation Points or more by February 28, 2007, your family can make a lasting mark on the resort. As a Founding Member, you’ll be honored on a prominent Village Tapestry—to be displayed in the Resort’s new addition.”
Pricing is currently $101 per point with a discount of $8 per point applicable on add-ons of 100 points or more. This offer also expires on February 28th.
