DVCNews Debates: Thanks, DVC!

mt_ignore:DVCNews DebatesAs another year comes to a close, reflect back on your Disney Vacation Club experiences throughout 2008.  Is there anything noteworthy which was made possible largely due to your DVC ownership?  (Examples: A large family gathering made possible by DVC villas.  A resort stay that would not have otherwise been in your budget.  Some non-DVC destination booked using points.)

DVCNews Debates: Waitlist Experiences

mt_ignore:DVCNews DebatesDisney Vacation Club Member Services uses a waiting list system to allow members to queue-up for rooms not available at the time of their initial booking.  The desired resort(s) are noted in the computer system and in the event that a room is made available via another member's cancellation, the room is automatically booked for the guest sitting on the waitlist.

Topic: Have you ever used the DVC Waitlist?  If so, please provide details regarding your experience.

Disney Vacation Club memebers receive an attractive discount on Annual Passes.  Discount vendors sell multi-day passes at low prices.

DVCNews Debates: Transportation

mt_ignore:DVCNews DebatesThere are many transportation options available to not only reach Walt Disney World (airplane/DME/rental car/town car, train, drive, etc.) and while on property (buses, boats, walking, drive own car, drive rental car, etc.)  Each option typically involves some trade-off between convenience and cost.
