Disney Vacation Club Member Services uses a waiting list system to allow members to queue-up for rooms not available at the time of their initial booking. The desired resort(s) are noted in the computer system and in the event that a room is made available via another member's cancellation, the room is automatically booked for the guest sitting on the waitlist.
