Monday, May 27, 2019 is Memorial Day in the United States--a day to remember those who perished while serving in the armed forces. During this national holiday, a number of schedule adjustments and restrictions apply to Disney Vacation Club members.
DVC Member Services, Member Administration and Member Accounting will be closed all day on Monday, May 27, 2019. During the closure, owners are advised to use DVCMember.com to make and cancel reservations, bank points and perform other tasks supported by the site.
All of the DVC offices will re-open at 9:00am on Tuesday, May 28.
Pool hopping privileges are suspended over the holiday weekend, from Friday, May 24 through Monday, May 27. During this period, members may only utilize pools located at the resort where they have a confirmed DVC points reservation.
Reminder that pool hopping is never allowed to Bay Cove Pool at Bay Lake Tower, as well as all pools at Disney's Beach Club Villas, Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Disney's Art of Animation Resort.
DVC "Membership Magic" discount perks are subject to blockout dates throughout the year. Disney Vacation Club no longer publishes a comprehenisve list of blockout dates, stating only that members perks are not available on dates "including, but not limited to, Christmas and New Year's Day." Members may wish to check with a Disney Cast Member to inquire regarding the availability of member discounts, particularly on Monday, 5/27.
Memorial Day is not listed among the blockout dates for the Tables in Wonderland dining program. Normal discount levels and valet parking perks should remain applicable throughout the weekend.
