"Disney Destinations" Points Charts Return

DVC Policies & Procedures

Back in early-December, DVC posted the points charts for its non-US theme parks on DVCMember.com.  However, the charts were removed a few days later, leading to speculation as to the reasoning behind the removal.  The charts have now returned, confirming suspicions.

Through 2007, resort reservations at Disneyland Paris included theme park passes for the length of the stay.  In the charts originally posted for 2008, the per-night point values dropped dramatically from '07 to '08, leading many to wonder if theme park tickets were still included.  The fine print on the original charts still mentioned the free passes, but those charts were removed from the website after a short time.

Well, it now appears the speculation was correct.  The newly-posted revision includes the following disclaimer:

Reservations at Disneyland Resort Paris resort hotels require a 2-night minimum stay.  For trips beginning January 1, 2008, reservations require the purchase of length-of-stay Theme Park Tickets for the number of registered Guests.

Reservations at Hong Kong Disneyland resorts still do include length-of-stay park passes.
