2015 points charts released

DVC Policies & Procedures

Disney Vacation Club has published the point values for reserving villas in the 2015 calendar year.  While no radical realignments have occurred, two DVC resorts will see changes which go beyond the typical calendar adjustments.

According to DVCMember.com a number of Deluxe Inn Ocean View rooms at Disney's Vero Beach Resort have been reclassified as Garden View.  The adjusted rooms are most likely those with an obstructed side view of the ocean.  Interestingly, the point values for the Three Bedroom Beach Cottages appear to have borne the weight of the modifications.  The weekly cost of a Beach Cottage during Choice Season has risen from 451 points in 2014 to 453 points in 2015.  In Dream Season, the Beach Cottage cost rose from 525 points to 539 points.

Also up is the weekly cost of a Garden View Inn Room in Dream Season from 104 points per week in 2014 to 109 points in 2015.

The other change impacts Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas.  In order to construct the Ulu Cafe quick service dining establishment, several ground floor villas were permanently removed from service.  To supplement that inventory, Disney Vacation Club has added a number of hotel rooms with a Standard View to the timeshare program.  The new "Hotel Room" category has been added to the points chart for 2015.

All other point chart modifications are strictly calendar-based--adjusting for the annual dates of Easter, Thanksgiving and other holidays as applicable.

The 2015 points charts can be viewed here at DVCNews.com by visiting the Disney Vacation Club Collection Points Charts page or by selecting a destination from the "DVC Resorts" menu above.  The charts are also available at DVCMember.com.
