The 2009 condo association meeting is less than a month away and Disney Vacation Club has published details on the time and location.

The Walt Disney Company today announced that Thomas O. Staggs, Senior Executive Vice President and Disney's Chief Financial Officer and James A. Rasulo, Chairman of Disney Parks and Resorts will swap positions at the end of next year.  Under this new arrangement Disney Vacation Club President Jim Lewis will ultimately report to Staggs as Chairman of Parks and Resorts.

On Monday November 9, 2009 the general public will be eligible to begin booking 2011 voyages on the brand new Disney Dream cruise ship.  In preparation, Disney Vacation Club has published Points Charts for several of the Disney Dream itineraries and will alter Member Services operating hours on the morning of 11/9.

Disney Vacation Club is cautioning members regarding a potential scam in which members are being contacted by individuals purporting to be DVC representatives.  Members are advised to withhold providing any personal or financial information until they have verified the identity of the caller.  Details follow.

On October 17, 2009 Disney Vacation Club celebrated the opening of its second Doorway to Dreams sales center with a number of public and private events at the Roosevelt Field mall in Garden City, New York.
