Fans of Disney's Animal Kingdom....Wednesday June 5th is your day to start booking three Moonlight Magic dates for 2019.
On the nights of Thursday, July 18, Thursday, August 8 and Thursday, August 22, 2019, owners will take over Disney's Animal Kingdom in DVC's popular theme park exclusive.
Moonlight Magic provides DVC members with complimentary after-hours access to the park, with reduced wait time for most attractions. Also featured in the events are unique character meet-and-greet opportunities, free refreshments, a DJ dance party and more.
Members with confirmed Disney hotel reservations on the night of an event can start booking the three Animal Kingdom dates beginning at 9:00am Eastern on Wednesday, June 5. Click HERE to be redirected to the event sign-up page. In 2019, Disney Vacation Club began using a new virtual queue system, which seems to have streamlined the registration process.
Events run from 9:30pm to midnight on all three evenings. Admission time has not been revealed but in years past, members have been able to enter the park as early as 7:00pm using their Moonlight Magic credentials. Members with a hotel reservation can book Moonlight Magic for the party size listed on their reservation. Members are limited to one Moonlight Magic event per theme park in 2019. Capacity is limited and registration is required. A DVC member ID card and photo ID must be presented upon arrival.
Registration will open to those without hotel reservations on Wednesday, June 12. At that time, members will be able to book a maximum party size of themselves and up to three guests.
The next events in the Moonlight Magic series are planned for the nights of September 18 and October 16, 2019 at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park. Reservations will open on August 14 for hotel guests and August 28 for others.
