One signature Disney Vacation Club perk is sticking around for at least another year.
Disney Vacation Club has confirmed that the members-only lounge located Epcot's Imagination Pavilion will remain open throughout 2018. In a post to the Disney Park Blog, Disney Files Magazine Editor Ryan March confirms the popular destination will remain in place for the 2018 calendar year.
The lounge debuted in mid-2016 as a tie-in to DVC's 25th anniversary celebration. Access was initially promised only through the end of 2016, but it was later extended through 2017.
According to March, more than 180,000 members have visited the lounge in its first year of operation. The lounge is available from 10am to 6pm daily, offering comfortable seating in an air conditioned space, along with free beverages and snacks, access to Member Services advisors, charging stations for portable electronics and more.
