Sales remain steady in October 2013
Direct sales of Disney Vacation Club points by Disney Vacation Development remained steady in October 2013. For the month, 173,715 points were sold, nearly the same as September 2013's 175,044 points sold.

Sales of the Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa helped propel Disney's Parks & Resorts division to a 12% increase in profits during the 4th quarter of Fiscal Year 2013. But Disney is struggling to maintain is sales pace in Fiscal Year 2014.
Disney Vacation Club recently tweaked its pricing for two resorts. Unfortunately, the current incentives leave buyers paying higher net prices than with previous specials.

In September 2013, 175,044 Disney Vacation Club points were sold by Disney Vacation Development. Although it represents a drop of 29.4% compared to the previous month, it is almost right in line with the average monthly sales for the last 12 months.
