Casual poolside dining and drinks. 

Shutters (Table Service dining; Breakfast and Dinner)

Casual dining with tables available both indoors and outdoors.  Fish dishes are featured, but the menu also includes a selection of steaks, pasta and pizza to suit all tastes.  Items tend to be a bit more competitively priced than Disney' theme park dining locations.

Sonya's (Table Service dining; Breakfast and Dinner)

Sonya's is the more upscale restaurant featured at the Vero Beach Resort.  Recommended dress is business casual.  The restaurant serves dinner daily along with a marvelous Sunday brunch. 

The dinner menu again features numerous seafood selections (lobster, salmon) along with beef and chicken alternatives.  The Sunday brunch includes a carving station, omelette station and even a complimentary alcoholic beverage for the adults. 

Advanced Dining Reservations are not available.


Recreation

Main Pool (Hours: 8am to 10pm with seasonal adjustments)

The resort's main pool sits at the heart of the recreation complex.  The spiral Pirate's Plunge pool slide empties right into the Mickey-shaped pool itself.  Nearby a miniature pirate ship is covered with slides, water cannons and water geysers to entertain the toddler set.  Lifeguards are on duty during pool hours.

Towels are provided.  Lounge chairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Life jackets may be borrowed (free) from  Eb & Flo's Rentals

Roaring Fork features an all-day dining menu of breakfast selections followed by burgers, chicken, pizza and sandwiches for afternoon and evening meals.  Tables are available both inside and outside in the courtyard, or items can be packted "to go" for those headed back to their villa.

Whispering Canyon Cafe is a dining location that caters to kids...or to the kid in all of us.  Dinner is served when the bell rings and throughout the meal expect to be treated to hobby horse pony rides, songs and even a few games.  The menu includes traditional western favorites like BBQ pork, ribs and roasted chicken.  Don't forget to ask for the ketchup!

Recreation

Silver Creek Springs Pool (Hours: 10am to 10pm; slide open only when lifeguards on duty)

Silver Creek Springs is the feature pool complex at the Wilderness Lodge.  Its size is fairly small--understandable since it was Silver Springs Pooloriginally constructed for the >700 room Wilderness Lodge Resort.  The area includes a small kiddie pool and two spas.  The pool also affords a view of Fire Rock Geyser, a recreation of Old Faithful which erupts every few minutes to entertain guests.  Beware of pool crowding issues due to guests making the trek (or bus ride) over from Fort Wilderness. 

Snacks and refreshments are available at the nearby Geyser Point Bar & Grill.

Towels are provided.  Lounge chairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Life jackets may be borrowed (free) nearby. 

Boulder Ridge Cove Pool 

Opened in summer 2017, the new zero entry pool is desiged to emulate the appearance of an abandoned rock quarry.  Keeping Boulder Ridge Covewith the resort's Pacific Northwest theme, design elements will reflect the manner in which elements from the Transcontinental Railroad were repurposed by members of the community.  Within the pool stands a water tower left over from the "Boulder Ridge Railway and Mining Co."  Mine carts and other elements will help support the new theme.

Good's To Go is located at the Hospitality House near the main pool.  It is little more than a lunch counter where simple fast foods are prepared to order.  Dine nearby the pool or take the order back to your room.

Olivia's is located at the Hospitality House and offers all-day dining.  The menus feature a selection of standards:  eggs and pancakes for breakfast; burgers and sandwiches for lunch; steaks, pasta and pork for dinner.  Don't forget to try the Key Lime Tart for dessert. 

Dining reservations are available at Olivia's but are rarely needed.

Recreation

Main Pool (Hours: 9am to 10pm; slide open only when lifeguards on duty)

Located near the Hospitality House, the main pool features a large winding sandcastle / slide (look for the Hidden Mickey at the exit.)  There is also a smaller pool to the side for infants and toddlers, a whirlpool and sauna located within the resort's iconic lighthouse.  The main pool is staffed by lifeguards.

Towels are provided.  Lounge chairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Life jackets may be borrowed (free) from nearby Hank's Rent-n-Return.

Leisure Pools (Hours:  9am to 10pm)

Additional Leisure Pools (a.k.a. Quiet Pools) are located in the South Point, Old Turtle Pond and Miller's Road neighborhoods.  All guests are welcome at the Leisure Pools, however they do not have a waterslide or other features found only at the main pool.  The Leisure Pool in Old Turtle Pond area features quick service food at the Turtle Shack Snack Bar.

Towels and lounge chairs are also available.  Lifeguards are not present at the Leisure Pools.  Laundry facilities are available at each pool complex for those staying in Studio villas.

Lake Buena Vista Golf Course

Course architect Joe Lee calls his creation "exciting, challenging, yet fun to play."  The clubhouse for the Lake Buena Vista Golf Course is located on the Saratoga Springs grounds, while the course itself winds through both Saratoga and Old Key West

Arguably the finest seafood served on Walt Disney World property can be found at the Flying Fish.  The menu changes frequently to suit the season and the catch.  Steak and pasta dishes are available, but this place is all about the seafood.

A "trattoria" is an italian restaurant serving simple food.  "Al forno" is italian for "food baked in an oven."

Trattoria al Forno features Neopolitan-style pizza baked in wood-burning ovens with fresh mozzarella made daily.  Otherdishes highlight cuisine from Italy's various regions.  Wines are 100% Italian from historic regions including Tuscany, Veneto and Piedmont.  Over 60 selections are available by the bottle and 25 wines by the glass.  Signature cocktails, Italian beers and sodas are also available.

Beginning April 2017, the restaurant is hosting the "Bon Voyage Breakfast" character meal.

Recreation

Luna Park (Hours: 10am to 10pm with seasonal adjustments; slide only open when lifeguards on duty)

The Luna Park pool complex upholds the New Jersey boardwalk theme of the resort with its rollercoaster-like slide.  Keister Disney's BoardWalk VillasCoaster is a 200-foot waterslide designed as a nod to the old wooden rollercoasters, right down to the faux clown's head which ultimately deposits guests into the pool.  Also featured within the complex are the Leaping Libations pool bar, a separate swimming area for infants and toddlers, and a whirlpool spa.

Towels are provided.  Lounge chairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Life jackets may be borrowed (free) from the Community Hall.

Leisure Pools (Hours:  10am to 10pm)

Two Leisure Pools (a.k.a. Quiet Pools) are available at the resort.  Despite the name, all guests are welcome to enjoy these swimming holes.  One is located right in the heart of the Villa comples, while the other is on the Inn side of the resort.

Towels and lounge chairs are also available.  Lifeguards are not present at the Leisure Pools.

Atlantic Dance Hall

Open to guests age 21 and older, the venue provides live music and dancing on select nights.  Atlantic Dance Hall typically Disney's BoardWalk Villasoperates Tueday - Sunday during the evening hours, but schedule adjustments are commonplace as the location is used for many special events.  

Jellyrolls

Home to the famous dueling pianos.  Jellyrolls typically operates from 7pm to 2am nightly, though schedule adjustments are possible.  Open to guests age 21+ only.

Beaches and Cream is Disney's nod to the traditional american soda fountain.  As tunes play on the jukebox, diners enjoy their hamburgers, hot dogs, hot sandwiches and, of course, ice cream.  Be sure to ask for the Kitchen Sink...and bring a few friends along to share!

Advance Dining Reservations are not accepted and space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Expect long waits during peak dining hours.

Cape May Cafe (Table Service dining; Breakfast and Dinner)

In the morning hours, Cape May Cafe is host to a Character Breakfast featuring Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Chip and Dale all decked-out for a day at the beach.  Food is served buffet-style and includes the typical breakfast fare:  scrambled eggs, waffles, pancakes, sausage, bacon, pastries, fresh fruit, etc.

In the evening, Cape May is home to the Clam Bake Dinner Buffet.  The buffet is split between seafood favorites (claims, mussles, shrimp) and traditional american cuisine (BBQ ribs, prime rib, corn-on-the-cob.)  No characters are present for the dinner buffet.

Stormalong Bay (Hours: 10am to 10pm with seasonal adjustments)

Stormalong Bay is a sprawling three-acre pool complex shared by guests at the Beach Club, Yacht Club and Beach Club Villas.  The complex has several distinct features including Sinking Sands, a shallow zero-entry wading pool for young children, a lazy river for those who simply wish to float on tubes enjoying the sun, and a dramatic slide originating from a sunken ship on the shore of Crescent Lake.  Nearby Hurricane Hanna's serves alcoholic beverages and a selection of quick service foods.

Access to Stormalong Bay is restricted to guests staying at the Yacht Club, Beach Club and Beach Club Villas only.  The policy is strictly enforced by use of wristbands issued to guests as they arrive.  Each guest visiting should bring along their Key to the World Card (room key) as proof they are presently staying at an eligible resort. 

Towels are provided.  Lounge chairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Life jackets may be borrowed (free) from  stand near the pool.  Tubes and other floatation devices are available for a fee.

Leisure Pools (Hours:  10am to 10pm)

Two Leisure Pools (a.k.a. Quiet Pools) are available at the resort.  The Villa Pool is located in a courtyard boarded by the resort wing housing the DVC villa accommodations.  The Beach Pool is adjacent to Crescent Lake near the walkway to Epcot. 

Towels and lounge chairs are also available.  Lifeguards are not present at the Leisure Pools.
