The dues calculations are included in the Notice of 2007 Annual Meetings of the Board of Directors and Members. The meetings are set to occur on December 4, 2007. During the meeting the Board of Directors will formally ratify the budgets for each resort. Members will then begin receiving invoices for the 2008 dues in late-December. Balances will also be available on DVCMember.com at that time.
2008 dues invoices will also include any outstanding balances related to 2007 property taxes, if applicable. 2007 property taxes were estimated in conjunction with the 2007 budget. If amounts billed by the county exceed the estimate, DVC will balance-bill members for the outstanding portion of the taxes due. If property taxes were over-estimated, the excess will be shown as a credit toward the 2008 dues.
