I hope this is just a seasonal thing because Wilderness Lodge really needs more food options even for breakfast.

When we stayed at Wilderness Lodge back in January we were really looking forward to the breakfast at Geyser Point, and the menu looked great (Crab Cake Eggs Benedict, Buttermilk Pancakes, Wraps, Smoked Salmon, etc). But, when we arrived all they had was some very simple "continental breakfast" items... and they told us that they had just discontinued the full breakfast a few days earlier.

Once we learned that we didn't even eat there (and no one else was either), and went over to Roaring Fork instead. So, it doesn't really surprise me they decided to scrap breakfast totally now, no one was eating there anymore from what we saw.

Personally I think they simply didn't do a good enough job of letting people know about the breakfast there, and it isn't easily visible from the lobby. Rather than trying to promote it, they just scaled back in January, now have just given up on it. It's too bad, since our lunch there was great, and it really is a wonderful location.
