Wish there was more QS restaurants in WDW. I think I count a total of 1.

I saw Cookes of Dublin, Siestas Pool Bar and Earl of Sandwich, but there were snack places including Wetzels Pretzels, Haagen-Dazs, Ghirardelli® Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop and Joffrey Coffee.

I see DVC dining discounts at plenty of restaurants at both WDW and DL but nothing at the Aulani restaurants. Am I reading the benefits list correctly?

Just checked the member website and the only dining discount shown is for Hard Rock Cafe (15% off on Lunch).

I think when it comes to the QS restaurants in the parks, they sorta know they gotcha by the short hairs. While you may not be willing to splurge on a TS, you sure aren't going to waste time leaving the park and running to Mickey D's.

Beside, instead of offering discounts at under utilized QS restaurants, they'll simply make it "Seasonal" and shut it down, forcing you into the remaining locations.

My wife and I did our second points visit to Aulani back in October/November and they don't have a DVC discount in the restaurants on site. You can get a DVC discount in the shops, like Kalepa's Store (even if you buy just snacks), or a discount on any of the services like the cabana rental or snorkeling gear.

That has changed then since our last visit to Aulani in February 2016. That is a shame they did away with the discounts.
