Member Benefits and Perks

Disney Vacation Club Member Services is offering limited services on Saturday, June 23 to accommodate those making reservations for the Member Cruise opportunities in 2019.

DCL Member Magnet

In 2019 DVC owners can join one of two member-exclusive cruises.  The first is a 5-day voyage aboard the Disney Wonder traveling along the California coast.  The cruise departs San Diego on May 15, concluding in Vancouver on May 20.

The second is a 7-night voyage from New York City to Bermuda and back, departing October 5 and returning October 12, 2019.  Travelers on the Disney Magic will spend two days in Bermuda along with a stop in Boston, MA.

Reservations for both cruises will be accepted beginning on Saturday, June 23.  From 10:00am to 3:00pm Eastern, Member Services will only be handling inquiries related to the 2019 Member Cruises, as well as routine calls from owners with vacation arrivals scheduled for the next 5 days.  From 3:00pm to 6:00pm, operations will return to normal with agents managing all incoming calls including those still hoping to book the 2019 cruises.

Members hoping to book either of the cruises should be prepared with their DVC Member ID, Castaway Club ID, personal information for all travelers and a list of  special medical or dietary needs. Certain stateroom classes may fill early, so callers are advised to have multiple choices in mind when calling.  Full payment is due at the time of booking.

Due to anticipated high demand for the two cruises, extended call wait times are likely.

Additional details regarding the cruises can be found in our prior coverage, including charts displaying the cost of the cruises in both DVC points and cash.  Note that only members who qualify for the Membership Magic programs are eligible to book.  Points can only be used toward Disney Cruise Line voyages if they were purchased direct from Disney Vacation Club or via resale prior to March 21, 2011.
