Member Services will open at 9am Eastern Time on Saturday, November 17 to begin taking reservations for the 2008 SS Member Cruise. Those planning to book MUST be prepared to call right an 9am, and get comfortable for a long wait. Even with a full slate of MS representatives working the phones, it will take several hours to book all interested members.

Booking the Cruise

Member Services will be booking reservations exclusively for this cruise event starting at 9:00am EST on Saturday, November 17, 2007. To book passage on the S.S. Member Cruise 2008, or for more information, call Member Services at (800) 800-9800 or (407) 566-3800†. Other services will be available during standard operating hours beginning at 1:00pm EST.

Because of heavy call volume associated with S.S. Member Cruise 2008 bookings; your wait time to speak with a Member Services Cast Member may be longer than is customary. We expect this to be a popular Member offering, and apologize in advance for any delay in speaking with you. We recommend having at least two alternate stateroom category choices when calling for reservations, as categories may sell out before your call is answered.

Before You Call Member Services
Please have the following information ready when you call:
- Membership ID Number
- First, second, and third stateroom category choices — categories sell out quickly for this event
- Preferred dining time — early (6:00 pm) or late (8:30 pm) seating (Please note that seating times cannot be guaranteed.)
- Special dietary needs
- Special medical needs
- Castaway Club Number (provided to repeat cruisers by Disney Cruise Line®)
For each person sailing on the S.S. Member Cruise 2008, please have the following information ready when you call:
- Legal name and spelling as it appears in print on birth certificate or passport
- Home address
- Home telephone number
- Date of birth (mm/dd/yyyy)
- Citizenship/Nationality
Please note the following important information about the S.S. Member Cruise 2008 before you call:
- There is a three stateroom limit per Member household.
- Disney Vacation Club will waive the initial transaction fee associated with booking your Disney Cruise Line reservation for the S.S. Member Cruise 2008.
- A non-refundable transaction fee will apply to all modifications associated with an S.S. Member Cruise 2008 reservation.
- Disney Vacation Club will accept the following forms of payment for Members not using Vacation Points to book the cruise: Visa® Card, MasterCard®, American Express®, Discover or check received by overnight mail. If paying by credit card, please have the credit card number, expiration date and the name that appears on the card available for full payment at the time of booking.
- Member Services will only accept reservations for S.S. Member Cruise 2008 by phone beginning Saturday, November 17, 2007, starting at 9:00am EST. Booking requests will not be accepted by fax or email.
- Due to safety concerns, Disney Cruise Line policy prohibits expectant mothers who have entered their 24th week of pregnancy as of September 21, 2008, to travel on the S.S. Member Cruise 2008. Neither a physician's medical statement nor a waiver of liability will be accepted. Disney Cruise Line and Disney Vacation Club cannot be held responsible or liable for any complications relating to pregnancy at any stage.
- Disney Cruise Line policy prohibits infants under 12 weeks old on September 21, 2008, to travel on the S.S. Member Cruise 2008.
