The latest filings show what appear to be 26 cabin-like structures positioned along the shore of Bay Lake.  Similar to the new bungalows at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, these appear to be elite, stand-alone buildings with plush accommodations...and likely high point requirements to boot.

The northernost grouping of 12 cabins will face in the general direction of the Magic Kingdom and have some view of the late night fireworks display.

For months rumors have been swirling that Disney Vacation Club was prepared to expand its presence at the Wilderness Lodge.  The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge debuted in 2001 as the third timehsare property at Walt Disney World and fifth location overall.  Today it remains the smallest DVC resort within the Central Florida theme park complex.

These filings seemingly confirm the addition of bungalow-like structures at the Wilderness Lodge, along with an expansion of the quiet pool located near the villa wing.  Documentation also suggest that additional food and beverage outlets are planned along with other recreation facilities.

Numerous permits have been filed for work throughout the Wilderness Lodge property,  Dates included on that paperwork indicates the renovations will run into 2018.

Two of the longhouses Disney's Polynesian Village Resort have been converted to DVC villas.  Conversion of a third is scheduled to wrap-up later this year.  To date, no other Disney Vacation Club developments have been publicly announced.
