Planning a stay at the new Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge? Here are some dates to mark down in your calendar if you hope to book summer 2017.
The standard practice for roll-out of a new Disney Vacation Club resort is to offer a priority booking window to buyers. With the resort scheduled to open on July 17, new owners at Copper Creek will not have a full 11 months to book their first stay. However, DVC is granting several weeks of exclusive access to those new owners. The relevant dates are as follows:
March 21, 2017: Existing Disney Vacation Club owners who add-on points at Copper Creek can begin booking up to 11 months in advance.
April 19, 2017: New DVC members (no prior ownership) who purchase at Copper Creek can begin booking up to 11 months in advance. Sales to this group will open on April 5.
April 26. 2017: Reservations open to all DVC owners, subject to the normal 7 month window. On April 26, non-owners will have access to all available nights from the July 17 opening through November 26 (7 months from April 26.)
Additionally, we have been told that the online reservation system at DVCMember.com may not be available prior to April 26. If true, Copper Creek owners wishing to make a reservation prior to April 26 will have to contact DVC Member Services to inquire regarding availability.
